Finding KD Woods company and working with Karen to install flooring in a newly built house was the best decision we made in all the decisions we had to make for our project. Not only is her wood product beautiful and of amazing quality (milled by her locally), but Karen will work with you to ensure that you get a product that will last a lifetime - and she worked with us to develop a new finish that created the simple modern look we were after. Her product competes at every level with much more expensive high end floors that you see ads for in design magazines. Everyone who comes into the house looks at the floor and asks where we sourced it from - I am more than happy to recommend KD Woods to them all. We have a house in Santa Fe, New Mexico and were looking for reclaimed wood flooring which we could not find there. I knew the Amish country in Pennsylvania had this type of wood and luckily I found the K.D. Woods Company. The owner Karen is great to work with. They have so many choices. We ended up with a product named Reclaimed Oak Remilled. It looks fantastic. The prices are more than fair. And the shipping cost was also very reasonably priced.
