I needed a large order of Trex on a short notice. I called several of our other suppliers and they gave me a run around about not sure on days and kept changing their prices or came in super high in case of negotiation. Then I called Keys Deck & Dock supply. Kim answered the phone and was super friendly to me. She transferred me to Tracie to help me take care of my order. Tracie was super educated on the product, exact amount I needed and she managed to get it in from their supplier, put on their truck and delivered to our job site within 24 hours of ordering and all at a great price that was given to me from the start ! I was recently at the 2015 Home Show in Ft Lauderdale when I meet the folks from Keys Deck and Dock Supply. The material looked good. There were three different grades I liked the middle grade and let them know that the area was only 10' x 13' or 130 square feet. So with that I mind I was quoted roughly $600 -$700 for materials. Sounded good. So I follow up with Tracie the next business day only to learn the material costs had risen 50% closer to $1000. I was shocked. Well these are not people worth doing business with if they don't know how to do the math and there is such a change in price. The specs on my deck did not change or perhaps someone wants a large commission? But your guess is as good as mine.

I agree Owner Dan Hoffman doesn't pay and changes his price and avoids communication to the fullest and I gave him an enormous discount just because I knew him, shame on me, which made me draft up a contract for next time! I waited 80days for a payment to my LLC and had to succumb to lowering my price Even More in order to get paid!!!

Thanks to Dan and Keys Deck and Dock Supply for all of the advice and help with managing my project. The material, both the framing boards and the deck itself (Tandeck), is of the highest quality. Dan also helped me find labor for the project, and it was high quality and reasonably priced. If you need new decking, I highly recommend contacting Keys Deck and Dock Supply regardless of the size of your project.

I had poor service and a distrustful experience with this company in Pompano. Also my friend in Key Largo said too stay away from them. Call Eastern Metal Supply instead.
