Kilroy Construction

I have always been hesitant about giving a poor review to a business on a social media platform, especially knowing it's this individuals lively-hood will be affected. In fact, if you read my other GOOGLE Reviews, all of them are very positive. Kilroy Construction is the first business I have hired that is very deserving of a 1-Star Rating. Tom Kilroy is a small construction firm, who I engaged with on Cape Cod during early-2022 to perform various construction and remodeling projects. Tom was quick to arrive at the house and provide a written estimate, and his eagerness and pleasant sales-personality made me quick to commit. I gave him a 50% deposit, and more than 4-months later this work is still incomplete for something that should have taken no more than two weeks to complete. He

Hired Tom to renovate our kitchen. Provided a down deposited of $4750 as requested. Once Tom received the deposit- Tom provided us with one excuse after another on why he was unable to start the job i.e. wife has migraines/ son going through medical issues/ father has a heart attach/ family sick/ family in car accident - Fast forwarding - 5 months later - Tom made 5 different dates to meet with my husband and I to review job and a starting date ALL 5 TIMES NO SHOW/ NO CALL I am now asking for my deposit back and he is refusing to accept my calls/ respond to my e mails I wish i read the reviews prior to hiring Tom and his company for according to the reviews- this is a very common practice for him still trying to get our deposit back

I am now in the process of getting my 2,000 deposit back from Tom Kilroy Construction in small claims court. Took deposit and never did any work. Gave one excuse after another and strung us along for four months and now won't return calls. DO NOT even get a quote from this guy because he is not honest or trustworthy.

Took advantage of my elderly father. A $4,300 deposit was paid 9 months ago and no work has been done. Despite multiple attempts to get the deposit back since my father passed away 5 months ago, there has been no response. In the process of filing small claims in court.

Great job!! Tom came through and repaired an old leaky window in no time flat. I regret not posting this review sooner. Tom we appreciate the job you did. Handyman services can be a sketchy ordeal at times, not at all with Kilroy construction. I’d happily recommend to anyone in blackstone valley area needing misc work done. Keep up the good work!
