We have ordered wood for the past four years. We found the receptionist to be very professional and helpful. If we left a message, she got back to us in a timely manner. Delivery was on time and the workers were very helpful and nice. The quality of the wood was good, as well as the size. We will continue to order wood from them and would give an overall high rating for their quality and delivery time.

Kimball does business as AAA Firewood. In 2015, they advertised split seasoned hardwood at $200 per cord. I ordered two. The terms were cash on delivery. A wonderful deliveryman came, collected my $400 and dumped the wood. Subsequently I stacked and measured it. The quality was great, but the amount short -- by 35%. I called and ordered another cord and told the lady I wanted the 2/3 cord we were short. She said she'd deliver on Thursday. She would talk to the boss to get the other straightened out. On Thursday, the driver showed with one cord or so and said he bring the other later. I said I'd pay later. That was an impasse. We agreed he would take the load back. The driver returned silently and dropped off another 52 cubic feet of wood, leaving us 15% short. The company didn't

We used Kimball for our hardscaping back in October 2020. I meant to write a review then but it got away from me. Scott is a lovely man. Sometime hard to get a hold of, but the final product and price was really great. We love our backyard.

For 20 years Kimball Landscaping has maintained, beautified, and expanded my 2.5 acre lot more than doubling the usable size. Scott and his team have been consistent partners for my mad ideas, and his landscape and snow removal crew are rock solid and always do little extra things to keep my yard beautiful.

Ordered 1 cord of wood to be delivered in the morning weeks in advance. I'm disabled and had someone take the day off to stack it for me. Guess what no wood showed up and nobody would answer the phones. I left message canceling order and then someone called me back asap. (IMO that's screening calls). Around 5:30pm some guy knocks on my door with a wood delivery after I cancelled. I showed the driver all the attempts to contact his company. Driver had nothing to say. Told him to take his wood home with him. If you call the answering machine says kimball landscaping and north jersey wood. CONSUMER BEWARE!! Check Angie's list for kimball landscaping. "Not only does he not return homeowners call, our Contractor could not get in hold of him. And it was our Contractor who hired him."
