I recently brought my 1967 Triumph GT6 to Kip Motors to have some work done due to it having sat for too long. I wanted to have it gone through to make sure it was safe to drive as well, since I do most of the work myself and wanted to take the opportunity to have it gone through by a specialist and make sure things were working as they should be. I told them that I had a budget of $3500 and that anything more than that we would need to talk about. They ended up flushing the fuel system, replacing the fuel pump, and rebuilding the carburetors, which needed to be done. They recommended that we flush the clutch and brake lines as well, since I used regular DOT 3 fluid and not the magic British fluid. Fair enough. I don’t know very much about cars and was nervous about dealing with mechanics as I work to restore my MGB. A family friend recommended Kip Motor Company and I could not have had better experiences. Everyone has always been friendly, professional, and informative without even a hint of condescension. The work they’ve done is excellent, reasonably priced, and completed in a timely manner. I’m looking forward to many more projects with Kip Motor Company.

I must say that I have rarely ever met people as fine as Kip and Deborah. When my 1964 MG Midget continued to stop running after two different trips to Kip Motors they hopped in the car and drove out to my location, got the car back to the shop and offered to take me home. They subsequently replaced the coil and drove the car extensively to determine if the shutting down problem had been completely fixed. They then delivered the car to my house and were about to leave, asking for NO PAYMENT when I insisted on paying for the tow truck and the coil at least. These are fine people running a good business and there is no mystery how they have been in business for as long as they have because they stand behind their work and will make it right if you are not satisfied. Very very unprofessional. Sent a brake master cylinder for repair in February. It took 6 months to complete and it leaked right away. Sent it back again in August and here it is September and still nothing. Everyday I call I get told it's gonna get shipped out today and it never goes. Left my number multiple times waiting for an update or a call back and never receive one. If there's another option for British cars I would recommend using them. Unless you can wait foe the second coming of Jesus for your parts to get fixed and it might not even be fixed right.
