From our initial zoom call, we knew that this was the right company to gut and remodel our kitchen. In our onsite meeting, David and the GC, Waldemar, demonstrated their knowledge, experience and creativity, but most importantly, they listened to us! They didn’t try to push us to knock down walls or add things that we didn’t want. They asked questions and made suggestions and discussed options. Every step of the way, communication was timely. All of Waldemar’s crew were fantastic and did did top quality work. And everyday Waldemar was there to check on work and if he wasn’t pleased with something he showed them what he wanted. We did not expand the square footage but gained more counter space and storage with the design recommendations he provided. KBF remodeled our kitchen this summer (2025), including opening it up to the living room, and it was a fantastic experience. David and his team are experienced and knowledgeable and great to work with. The cabinet quality is top of the line, and they helped us design a functional and beautiful space. They also swooped in with a contractor when mine was unable to start the job on time, and the workmanship is fantastic. They also finished a half week ahead of schedule! The cost was very reasonable and we couldn't be happier.

Job: Major Kitchen Renovation in Fairlington (Arlington, VA) Completed in November 2019 I read about Kitchen & Bath Factory in the Arlington Magazine about 3 months before I decided to remodel of my kitchen and dining room in my 1947 Fairlington Condo unit. I knew I wanted a more open, modern concept, however had no idea as to what this might entail given the age of the building and potential concerns relative to impacting other units when removing walls, etc. I met with 4 different contractors, however, was most impressed with K&B Factory. In particular, I recognized David Doughton’s gift as a designer and the customer cabinets at K&B are top-notch. David and his teams just finished a Master Bath remodel for us. On time completion, really good quality work and good communication throughout. David has a design process which makes for an efficient project. I got as much help as I wanted on selection of tile and hardware etc. He came up with an idea to move a door slightly which opened up so much space that we could change the footprint of everything in the bathroom. Huge improvement from the old inefficient bath with wasted space. I would use them again for sure.
