Exemplary sales and service staff!! We are from Colorado (visiting our Cedar Rapids family) and decided to give Klinger's a visit to see about a small DIY wallpaper project I was planning. These folks were very patient as I went through pattern book after pattern book looking for something that "spoke" to me. I did find what I think will be a lovely, brightening pattern for my kitchen, they diligently checked to be sure that it was available (patterns can become "no longer available" rather quickly), and made sure that the wallpaper could be shipped to our address. All the while, they showed courtesy and patience! I went there for BM paint and was happy that the associate was able to point out the color I asked for right away. He was very helpful and knowledgable. However, when I asked if they had military discount he had to ask someone else. The guy he asked was very rude and acted offended that I would ask such a question. He belittled me by telling me that it was a cheap price for paint and told me it wasn't worth discounting. He was loud and his tone was belittling. I left feeling ashamed and embarrassed; so I will continue to go to Lowes where they give us a discount on everything in the store, including the cheap stuff because they know the discount isn't for the product but for our service and sacrifice to our nation.

I needed to get some paint for my move. I am pretty specific about color so I popped by and they still had on their system the color I previously used and was currently looking to take with me. It was mixed and ready to go in no time. I appreciate the speed, efficiency and friendliness of the staff.

Had a small project that needed to be done before a move. Indicated they could do it in a couple of weeks. After 2 weeks I called at least 4 times and left messages. When I did get someone on the phone they told me they were swamped but never returned my calls. In my opinion, it's professional to tell a customer whether they can take the job or not especially after they indicated they could.

Best paint store around. Their staff is knowledgeable, upfront, and knows how to deliver quality paint. If they don't sell it, you don't need it.
