KMC Handyman

I needed a list of 8 punch list items to be done as the sale of my house was approaching. I met with Kyle on a Monday, he worked up a proposal and I gave him a deposit, with the promise he would have the work done in a week. It was downhill from there. A series of no-shows, late, and would not return calls nor texts. Always had an excuse, needed new tires, had to finish another job, was arrested, in an accident... Only finished one of the 8 items and I had to hire another handyman to correct the self closing door Kyle had botched. Sorry, cannot recommend!

SCAMMER!! Kyle Mccraney is a person with no integrity. I hired him to replace my water tank with a tankless water heater. Sent him pictures and description and he quoted me $684.36 with half deposit upfront and requested to be paid through Zelle. Which I paid since he doesn’t have credit card payment options. Shows up late because he had flat tires and was driving from Lowe’s in St. Mary’s. When he comes to the house calls me and said it’ll be $3000 to do the job. I said no thank you and I have competitive quote elsewhere and that he refund my deposits. He agreed verbally to refund but LIES and said his bank is processing the Zelle and once the amount hits his bank account he will reverse it. I knew that he SCAMMED me of $342 but gave him benefit of the doubt for 7 business days. Sent him

I hired KMC to complete various small tasks/repairs. They were on time and very personable, however the work was sub par. When I brought it up to Kyle, he was very apologetic and wanted to take responsibility for it. A month and a half later, after plenty of reminders, calls, and texts, nothing has been done to fix the situation. I finally gave up and will just need to hire someone else to fix the issues made by KMC. They seemed like good people at first, but the work was not up to standard with no follow through on remedying the situation. I do not recommend based on my experience. He fixed our deck and painted it without us even asking. Showed my son some things too and didn’t have to even bother engaging in conversation with my little one! I loved it!

We HIGHLY recommend Kyle of KMC Handyman. He and his entire crew are Professional, Friendly, FAIR pricing and all work responded to and completed in a very timely manner! We had molding/trim, flooring and painting done in a new carport enclosure. Looks GREAT! He’s one of the good guys😊
