The company, specifically Scott Brannon, were recommended to me as I was searching for info on a recently discovered roof and chimney leak. Scott came out quickly, did a thorough evaluation of the situation and also came back to meet with the insurance adjuster. The Knox proposal was quite competitive cost wise with other companies we approached and far less than some. They did a complete tear off and replacement in a single day. But the best part was the quality of their work and speed. We were told they would start at 0700 that day. At 0700 they had not only arrived, but had already covered our shrubs with drop cloths, had the ladders out and wanted to make sure we were awake. The whole roof was done soup to nuts. We've owned our house for over two decades. It was built in 1938, and we've renovated it twice. That means that we've worked with many companies over the years and have encountered many workers. Our favorite worker of all time works for Knox. His name is Mick, and during our massive renovation (ten years ago), he performed what can only be described as a magic act in blending the existing part of the house with the new part. I was in need of a new roof, shingles were loose and the previous roofer had created some chaos. Knox cleaned everything up and made the house look spiffy again. The crew was very professional, very thorough, and cleaned up the yard when they were done. The project manager was also willing to help explain things to me. I would definitely recommend them.
