We had a great experience! We started a DIY basement remodel and I knew i dis not have the skills to do a quality drywall installation. Tim came gave us a reasonable quote in no time. When the crew came in, they were able to assess any extra work that was required in minutes! The job was 100% complete in less than 10 days and it would have taken us months🙄 The team was very flexible with a schedule delay and were responsive to every communication. Kohner Construction is definitely on speed dial!

We finished our 1000 sqft basement over the winter this year with the help of Tim and his crew. We were anxious at the beginning, but Char patiently answered all our questions regarding the process. We felt confident with their genuine responses that we signed the contract 3 days later. The materials were ordered immediately, and the framing started the following week. Two months later, the whole basement was finished on time as committed. The crew was decent, considerate, knowledgeable, and efficient at what they did. The electrician and plumber did a great job. Tim oversaw the city permit inspections, and we didn't have any significant findings. I was extremely nervous when I was told that I would need to buy all the materials myself as I have never done that before, but oh my gosh - I have an incredibly gorgeous bathroom because "I" picked out EVERYTHING myself - a very rewarding experience to say the least!! Tim and Char were very helpful in all communications about cost, what to expect and graciously gave me a list of materials that I would need along with dimensions, and the shopping began! We had 3 other bids but Tim was the one who cared about our idea and helped us stay within our budget. Tim and Char took care of all the building aspects but I especially liked that we purchased and paid for all the supplies: fixtures, shower, toilet, vanity, door, flooring, etc. That gave us more control over spending plus I got to pick out exactly what I wanted.
