I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid the same frustration. I hired them based on their initial estimate and timeline, which seemed fair at first. Unfortunately, things went downhill fast. First, they ended up charging me 25% more than the original estimate without properly communicating or justifying the increase. There were vague explanations about “unexpected costs,” but nothing was documented or approved in advance. To make matters worse, the project took two months longer than promised. That’s a huge delay, especially when you’re planning around construction. There was poor communication throughout the process, and I constantly had to follow up for updates. I used Krystal for about 3 years before everything went south. Algae, dirt and other debris started to become commonplace. I was a snowbird so wasn’t at the house part of the year. I decided to put a camera in the backyard. What I discovered was a pool tech that entered the back yard, dropped a chlorine tablet in the dispenser and that was it. No checking chemical levels, no scrubbing the sides of the pool and didn’t even empty the skimmer basket. Nothing. When I confronted the owner and explained the issue and was willing to share the video, she immediately fired me as a customer and refunded any prepaid services. Stay away.

So, called to get quote on pool repair. Tech came out, very professional, spent 10-15 min at house, wk later repair quote was rather high and decided different direction. $150 service bill sent is pretty high to just get quote, but after calling office and hearing "service call is what it is"....will keep business at other pool companies in future.

If I could give zero stars I could. My mother has a pool that was installed and maintained for years by this company and up until recently had been great. Kevin said he would install a handrail for her so that she would be able to get in and out easier for her physical therapy. However, after asking when it would be installed Kevin said he had to “rent equipment” and if she could find someone else to install it to by all means do so. When she questioned why certain things were serviced a different way, his response was to “fix it yourself if you don’t like how it’s done” unacceptable.

Those expecting bend over backwards, over the top service for the customer may be initially disappointed. But my family has used this company for the past 3+ years for simple things like chemicals and pool test, to bigger jobs such as new vinyl and parts; and I must say they have always been honest, fair, and provided good work.
