I highly recommend using Kurtz. I bought a property on a hill that had some challenges with slope and water drainage. Eric took a look at it and came up with an excellent plan to get a driveway in and prepare the site for the house foundation and septic. He made the process seem so easy. Not to mention all the tree stumps that he removed. He finished the project on time and right on budget. Thank you Eric and the team.

My wife and I recently purchased a home that had serious drainage issues. We wanted a French drain installed so we contacted Kurtz Excavating. The owner, Eric, responded quickly, set up an appointment to see what needed to be done, and showed us exactly what he planned to do to divert water away from our house. Eric and his crew work efficiently and you can expect excellent workmanship. They installed a 22 foot span, 50 foot long box culvert for my company inside the Green Mountain National Forest. From the beginning, Eric was communicative and great to work with.

To make a long and complicated story short, I had contacted a total of 10 excavation companies over many months in urgent need of resolving a severe drainage issue in addition to to creating a pad for a large greenhouse. Thank goodness for Eric & Kurtz Excavating. Eric was the only person out of all the companies I contacted that took measurements, gave me a detailed estimate, and showed up when he said he would. I was given a very tight deadline by the state of Vermont right before winter. Eric and his team got it done as the snow was falling and did an amazing job! We had them back again for some additional site work in the spring and they will be the first I call for future excavation projects. Eric is very professional, kind, experienced, and most importantly - reliable!
