LA Appliance Service, Inc

This appliance company was assigned to me through my home warranty insurance, and the experience has been terrible from start to finish. They rarely answer their phones, their technicians appear to have little to no knowledge about appliance repair, and communication has been consistently poor. I have never dealt with a company this unprofessional or unethical. I strongly advise staying away from them. I will also be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau.

They said they “fixed” my washer after waiting 2+ weeks for a part to arrive and the first load of laundry my roommate did after the repairman left flooded my house!! I left work early around 1:30pm to clean up the disastrous mess and called LA Appliance who said they could not send the tech back out and just offered an apology. My washer is still full of water and clothes and I had a very difficult time pulling it out to clean up all the water from behind the appliances. This is completely unacceptable!!! It has now been 4 weeks without my washer and I still don’t have an answer. My washer is full of water and clothing and I’m stuck with it in my walkway until they can “fix it” again. Do NOT use this company as they are unprofessional and caused damage to my home!!

Worst company ever !! I have American home shield warranty and they send over LA appliance to come check out my washed I opens the claim a few days before thanksgiving and the guy only stepped into my house looked at the washer for literally 20 seconds and turned to leave was told it was the motor and the basket from the guy who checked out the washer but they ever submitted paperwork to the insurance company ! I called every day to see what was the remedy it literally took 22 phone calls and waiting 21 days for LA appliance to respond to American home shield with the diagnosis and the price amount but wait it gets better !!!! American home shield denied the repair due to the fact that the guy told the insurance it my washer isn’t working due to my fault and that I overloaded the washer

Horrible Service! First American should remove them from providers. Came out on Dec 1st, completed diagnosis and said everything submitted to my warranty company. Followed up on Dec 5 with LA Appliance and was told everything submitted it was my warranty company delaying decision. Followed up with warranty company following Monday and was told LA Appliance never submitted anything and just talked to them while I was on hold and confirmed they never submitted my paperwork needed to proceed with claim. I called LA Appliance back and was upset I was lied to previous Friday. Apparently there is no oversight or follow in these claims internally. My appointment was scheduled between 8-12. I had to make arrangements to be home during that time. We emptied out freezer because we knew the door would be off for extended amount of time. I receive a phone call day of my appointment at 9:30 that the part arrived damaged and they had to reschedule. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Why are things not be inspected and checked prior to the appointment? Very very upset and will be escalating this complaint further.
