We hired Lambert and Barr to build a major addition onto our home, including a larger master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and exposed wooden beam, a walk-in closet, a spacious bathroom, and a brand-new covered porch that seamlessly ties into the existing house. From design and architectural planning to helping us select finishes, excavation, foundation work, framing, and every final detai, they handled everything start to finish. What impressed me most was how smoothly the new space integrates with the original structure. The covered porch looks like it was always part of the home. Jen and her crew did a great job renovating my bathroom. They showed up when they said they would, workmanship across the trades was high quality. Most importantly, communication was easy--calls are always returned or answered in a timely manner, my questions and concerns were addressed, and the process of tracking progress of the job with the foreman onsite was very collaborative. Things took a little longer than expected, but they stuck with it to get the job done! The end product was great, and the pricing was fair too, and the project came in right on budget for me. Simply cannot say enough good things about Jim Lambert, Jen and their crews. We completely renovated our house—all new electric, all new plumbing, replaced every window and door—and *everything* was done on price and on budget. Just as importantly, the quality of the craftsmanship of their crews for some of the most intricate work (e.g. building a new bathroom with high-quality tiling) has been extraordinary. In Feb.2017, I had a total loss house fire and I chose Jim Lambert (and Cathy) to come to my rescue. As it turned out Jim helped me every step of the way from the demolition of the remains through help finding an architect, designing a whole new house, and then building it for us to move into in March of 2018 - a record for speed considering it was over the winter. He builds a quality house paying attention to all of the details and communicating constantly with the owner. He is totally trustworthy and along with his entire family, has become a long lasting caring friend who will always be there when needed.
