I recently experienced a loss in my family and inherited several pieces of STIHL lawn equipment. I had never owned this brand before, so I brought about eight different items in for service and repair. Chad was incredibly friendly, professional, and honest throughout the entire process. He worked quickly and had all of my equipment ready just hours after I dropped it off. Before I left, he started each piece for me and even took the time to show me how to properly use them. I truly appreciate the kindness and patience he showed me during a difficult time. Because of Chad, I will only use this location and this company moving forward. Thank you, Chad — your kindness toward me will never be forgotten.

I brought my Stihl backpack blower for a repair and even though the expected repair time was 10 - 14 days, the repair was completed in less than 90 minutes. Repair cost a very small amount above the deposit! Phenomenal service and value!

I bought a Stihl weed eater at Land & Coates and it has been a huge disappointment. From the beginning it had trouble starting. I brought it in for service three times, and even though it now starts, it still shuts off randomly and performs poorly. Compared to other machines I own, this one clearly isn’t working properly. They never offered a replacement or real solution—just temporary repairs that haven’t fixed the core issue. I wouldn’t buy from this store again or recommend it. Customer service is lacking once there’s a problem.

My dad had been taking his equipment there for many years and had always been happy with the service. I stopped by and informed them that my dad had dementia and requested that they call me if they needed help dealing with my dad. My dad dropped off a leaf blower for repair and when it was done, one of the employees swung by my dad’s house and dropped it off for him because “he was in the area”. This company goes above and beyond for their customers and I am so grateful that there are still folks out there who care about other people. There are not many people like this anymore, but a few of them work for Land and Coates.
