Laurence Towers Garage

I booked a parking spot and arrived on November 3rd around 4:30 PM. The attendant, a Spanish man, told me I had to pay him $70 in cash before he would let me park my Tesla. This seemed like a scam, so we decided to leave.

I had a very bad experience at Laurence Tower Public Parking. The customer service was extremely poor and unprofessional. The staff told me I had to pay an extra $100 just to park my car, because they said they needed to move two other cars in order to make space. This charge was not disclosed upfront, and the way it was handled felt like pressure rather than proper service. Asking for such a large extra payment simply to park is unreasonable and unacceptable. I do not recommend this parking garage. There are better and more honest parking options nearby.

I have been parking here for 8 years. Today was absolutely my last day. The Saturday morning Dominican attendant is rude, washes your car with dishwashing liquid, and was disrespectful to me upon my arrival on a Saturday morning. For the past 9 months , which is when he started working here I have had the worst experience on a Saturday morning with this attendant. After I confronted him about being rude he proceeded to go back and forth with me , cursing me out. Why would I continue to spend my money here? Every other attendant is a pleasure to deal with. However I refuse to have a unpleasant experience dropping off my car in the morning. Please pay extra and park at other neighboring garages who will give you good service and take good care of your car.

Beware of scam- The garage lied about the time I entered by nearly an hour, and did not accept my SpotHero reservation. The garage said SpotHero themselves cancelled the reservation, telling me “SpotHero does this all the time,” which was not true. They charged me a higher rate in addition to the prepaid reservation I had.

A very rude employee named Dabin kicked me out of the garage. At the moment that I got there, he talked to me with very unpleasant attitude. I addressed this issue asking him not to talk rude. Regardless of the the attitude, i wanted to park my car and leave to the office. He insisted that I leave and even said he ll call police...lol Do yourself a favor, try to avoid this garage if you dont want deal with absurd rudeness and wasting your energy. Plenty of other garages in the city and you dont want police involved for addressing someone’s rudeness and unprofessionalism!
