Small-town family ran business. Fair prices. The two brothers (Ted and Rich) that own the business are great guys and honest to a fault. Their own installers and subcontractors that they partner with are respectful, amenable, and leave you with an excellent finished product. (Even if your dogs won't leave them alone. )

A broken water pipe caused damage in my basement including ruining the carpet in the family room as well as the carpet going up the stairs to the main floor. I walked into Lay-rite, talked to the owner, Ted, and he came out to my house the next day. He looked it over, gave me an estimate and that was that. A few days later I asked for an upgrade on the carpet for the stairway because of the extra traffic there so he made the addition to the estimate. When I was ready to have the work done, I called him. His very professional crew came out the next day right on schedule. And the add on for the stairway came in at less money then he had estimated. Just the nicest men to do business with---very understanding AND patient. Also carry top products, large variety to choose from. We're looking forward to having them re-do some floors here. Great to have them here locally.
