LAZ Parking - 101 W 23rd St Garage

Just had a terrible experience at west 23rd Laz garage on 8/22. We prepaid online for 3 hours $38. When we arrived we were told we needed to pay more for SUV and we would figure it when we got back in an hour and 20 minutes . When we got back, the attendant said $10 more, when I handed him a $20, he gave me back $5. I said you said $10, he said no I told you $15. We continued to go back and forth over the price, I know he pocketed the $5 so no tip for him. Awful service, won’t park there again.

I stayed at the Motto by Hilton in December 2024 and as a guest there they suggest to self park at this Laz garage for a discount to hotel guests so I parked here. When my car was returned I noticed damage and they totally tried to brush it off/ pretend it wasn’t there instead of being forth coming, try and suggest the car had the damage when it was brought in. Went back through their video footage to confirm when it happened. Despite that, there was no return or credit offered to what I paid (which in my opinion should be 100% refunded) and after filling out an incident report with them never heard from them. No apology given. They had one job, to park my car without issue. Would not suggest parking here

Terrible parking garage. They damage the inside and ripped the leather on the inside of my vehicle then denied the claim. They park cars about 8 inches from each other and take no regard to protect your vehicle. Cheaper to get a ticket out in town. The manager "Do Do" doesnt seem to care either.

NEVER park in this garage. Period. I have been parking there for years and management has changed. This is my scratched up car after the attendant decided to try and break into it. Check your car as soon as they return it to you

Finding parking for a stay in NYC is difficult, as they all seem to have terrible reviews. I chose LAZ, as it was the parking that Motto by Hilton uses. Staff was friendly, helpful, and the price was very reasonable. They let me go to my vehicle to place items in it so I could continue my NYC adventure after my checkout time at the hotel. I highly recommend parking at LAZ Parking
