LAZ Parking - 310 W 39th Garage

Harrowing experience ! Booked a parking on Dec 18th(Thursday) for a trip on Saturday. Reached the garage exactly at 5 pm as per the booking time. The attendant refused entry saying the parking was full. No remorse no sense of responsibility. He clearly said it’s LAZs responsibility and they don’t know anything about booking etc This was a long planned reunion for 3 families with kids. We were driving on the streets of NYC for 3 long hours to get another parking. Finally had to pay crazy amount at another garage. Pathetic management !

they tried charging me 2 days ($120) because i was 1 minute over the 24 hour mark from the drop-off time on the parking slip. They printed off the slip and it was timestamped for 10:21pm Tuesday evening. Arrived at exactly 10:21pm Wednesday to pickup the car. By the time i walked up to the desk it was 10:23pm and when i was talking to the attendant it was 10:24pm. (feel free to check the video footage) 24 hours was supposed to be $64 + tax = $74. argued with the parking attendant for 5 min before he charged me the 1 day rate. There was no way I was going to pay $120. did not have to open a dispute / chargeback with my card because i absolutely would have otherwise. sincerely hope this place goes out of business and corporate gets sued.

Prepaid for a spot, and was told when I left I needed to pay extra money without giving me a reason. Refused to return my keys and car until I paid extra $15. Then found out on the receipt it is because they marked my car as oversize. I drive a BMW X1, not an oversized car. Took it up with ParkWhiz/BestParking for the refund. Will never use this garage again.

Reserved and prepaid 2-3 weeks in advance and when we arrived they told us they was no more space. Do not even attempt to reserve, they don’t understand the definition of reservation. In addition to charging, not holding a space, they are very rude to costumers. 😊

Fast and friendly. Price was a little more than expected, but it was convenient and available. We had no issues
