LAZ Parking - 500 North Lake Shore Drive Garage

This place, charge you twice, they say to pay the ticket at the lobby and I did that and then they charge you again on your way out. Mind you no one answers when you press the assistant button, very scammy. They know you going to have to pay at the exit because its the only way they'll let you out. Don't pay at the lobby if you dont want to get charge twice.

Tight turns with pillars so low you can’t see them. If a large car is parked in end spot you won’t hit it. If a small car or no car you might end up with thousands of damage. This is an awfully designed garage. Other garage pillars are almost 2 feet taller. I’ve parked several times but like others before me the 6th floor got me. No one answered service phone in garage. Where do I start. I pulled up and pressed the kiosk at the front for a ticket, the gate opened but no ticket came out. I pressed it multiple times and still no ticket. I then pressed the assistance button and no one answered. At this point, there was a line behind me so I just went in. I had an appointment and didn't have time to wait for someone to answer. When I left, I went to the payment kiosk, pressed the assistance button again and explained the situation. I was told to get in my car and ask for assistance at the exit kiosk. I did this, and the man who answered at the exit became agitated, short tempered, and combative immediately. He told me I had to pay the $100 "lost ticket" fee even though it was their broken machine that never gave me a ticket in the first place. He actually hun

Great garage if you’re parking and want to visit Navy pier and take a boat tour. Took a star away for how tight the turns are. It was a task to say the least to navigate it in my 21ft pickup truck. I highly recommend you adjust your mirrors to not hit the little yellow walls like many others. Other than that felt confident my truck was safe and secure since thieves wouldn’t be able to get out fast either. P.s if you hit anything it’s your own fault. Don’t blame the garage for your lack of skill.

BEWARE!!! Do not park here!!! Absolute scammers who take your money and do not listen to any reason. I thought I was being good and smart by paying for my ticket at the kiosk before reaching my car. Then, I took a grand total of 20 minutes to exit the lot. NOWHERE does it say that you ONLY have 15 minutes to exit the parking lot, otherwise they’ll charge you an extra $15 FOR ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD REASON WHATSOEVER. But that’s their supposed rules and the person on the intercom did not give a damn about anything. I pleaded that I only went over by a few minutes, and that I had already paid $38 for parking only for only 5 hours total, and that just because I stayed an extra 5 minutes I had to pay another $15 on top of that.
