LAZ Parking - Providence Place

Hit or miss. I’ve been parking here for years whether it was to go to the convention center, the pavilion, or the mall. When trying to park in a clearly marked spot, there was not enough room to back in with a small sedan and there was a beam over the parking spot so when backing in it scraped the side of my car without me even reaching the back of the spot. Horrible design. Be very mindful of where you park here.

This parking lot is rough to deal with. Two sky bridges were built to allow parking for events at The Civic Center and Convention Center and it seems every time we park in this garage it's a ridiculous wait to leave. After any every event no one can exit the garage in a timely manner.

If you reserve and pay online, there is no way to print a receipt. When I called, they said take a screenshot of your pass, which is not an itemized recipient. I thought they would email me a receipt or provide a way to download it. Nope, they sent just an email with a link to the pass.

I don’t usually leave reviews for parking garages but I feel like this is a nice place for tourists like me to know about! It was easy to navigate to, there was a ton of parking available, and it was super cheap! Just be careful driving in there because people were driving pretty quickly and aggressively and there aren’t really enough stop signs! It was a great central location for exploring the downtown area on foot. we ended up just parking there the second day too because it was easier than trying to find other parking in an unfamiliar city.

Kinda confusing but prices are very good. Stairwell was a little dirty and felt haunted but would go again.
