LAZ Parking - Stuytown Garage 2

I parked at this garage through SpotHero for a week and paid $207. I parked my car after the beginning of my reservation at 3 PM and I left a day early. When I went to get my car they refused to give it to me without paying an additional $114 which they claimed was due to my leaving the reservation early. The manager, Meer, said that if I wanted a refund on this additional payment, I would need to contact SpotHero, even though the garage is the one who charged me. They could not offer an explanation as to why I was being charged an additional amount for leaving early. This was a really negative experience, as I was forced to pay extra money (more than half what I had already paid) in order to get my car back. They charge you additional fees if you book online, and then when you ask for help they say “you’re on your own”. This is fraudulent.

Don’t park here. I provided notice of a termination on 11/20/20, to cancel the month of December 2020. My contract states that termination occurs “Commencing the following month”. They want me to pay for December 2020, when I already sold my car, didn’t park there once, saying there is 30 day cancelation policy when it is not written in the original contract.

I don’t usually leave reviews but the worker at this place really irked me. I was circling looking for parking since 545 am around the blocks of the garage and had a spot reserve just incase for 615 due to I have a 630 appointment in Manhattan. The gates were locked at 6 am and the multiple times I was circling. When it came close to my time and I still couldn’t find street parking, I was going to use my 615 reserved spot, issue was at 615 the gates were still down and locked. At 625 they were finally up and the worker was extremely rude before I even started talking and I was the first car in im told I need to wait, that he doesn’t need this in the morning etc etc and that he came from queens. I live and commuted from queens also, that’s not an excuse. If the garage is suppose to be open

Prepaid for parking, and was charged again upon pickup. When I brought it to their attention, they refused to pay me back because they “don’t do refunds”. These people are thieves and took nearly $500 for 5 days of parking. Do not park here.
