LAZ Parking - The Grove - Self Park

Parking validation is apparently a vibe but not a policy. I spent a grand total of 2 hours and 15 min at the Grove. Parked, ate, validated my parking, spent a bunch of money at a few stores and finally returned to the parking lot where I discovered at the machine I owed 15 bucks. I was a bit confused as validation was supposed to cover 2 hours. Most places would have just charged me 5 for the extra 'hour' but this place apparently invalidates their own validation if you decide to stay and shop. Weird incentive structure squeezing paterons on parking and encouraging the leave as fast as possible instead of shopping. Believe the one ☆ reviews, they are looking take your money.

No problems finding a spot or the price. It is what it is and trying to be. We did find that a large proportion of the ticket payment machines just wherent working which led to some queues and confused patrons. On level 4 only one of the 4 machines I found actually worked. Fix it an take my money please!

I met a friend here to go for lunch at the market we ate left after 2 hours we took separate cars so it was $28 for each of us to park. You guys got to figure this out won't be back until you give 90 minutes free or 3 hours free like they do in Santa Monica when they want to encourage people to do business in the neighborhood

DO NOT Park unless you are fine paying 15-40 bucks randomly for 2 hours. It's a Scam. I would not recommend visiting The Grove if you have to park here.

AMC offers 4 hour validation for $5.... BUT if youre there over 4 hours, that validation cancels and you pay full amount. I was there 4 hours, 23 minutes and had to pay $16... not $5 plus 23 minutes worth... AMC sent me to concierge, who sent me to parking office just for them to say too bad, in 3 minutes you have to pay $18. Racket
