On Sunday morning, I called Legacy Garage Door Repair & Supply San Ramon after seeing their 289 five-star reviews. I needed same-day service and was pleased that they were able to send someone out later that day. I asked for the name of the technician who would be coming and was told it would be whomever was available. What was not disclosed upfront is that Legacy subcontracts their work to other garage door companies in the area. The company that actually performed the service was Bay Best Garage Doors, which has significantly worse reviews. We only became aware of this when the technician told us who to make the check out to — at that point, the work was already completed.
