During the hottest weeks of July, my HVAC broke down. My insurance company assigned a big HVAC company to repair the broken unit. However, it took that company 3 times to fix a not so complicated wiring issue. It would have saved them 2 visits if their technicians could have been a little more patient and professional. More importantly, during the check-up service, one of the 3 technicians either didn't identify or left the valves untightened so that the freon started to leak. We didn't know about the leaking freon until the unit broke down again several days later. I am so fed up with this company that I requested my insurance company to send in a better company, then my insurance company sent in Legacy Home Comfort. I was in a pinch and found this company and was so impressed. I called after hours and a real person picked up promptly. He was very helpful and professional on the call, and responded on-site within an hour. Prices were extremely fair—hundreds cheaper than a competitor that was trying to take advantage of me before I called this company. The job was finished within 2 hours of me calling for less than half the price of “the other guy”. Highly recommended!!

Ivan was INCREDIBLE! Our AC broke yesterday and in this intense heat, it was miserable. We called many HVAC companies in the area but many were delayed and not answering at 7pm at night. We called Legacy Home Comfort and Ivan answered, he calmed us and said he could come to West End area in an hour. He arrived in 35 minutes, fixed our thermostat and AC promptly in 1.5 hours for a really affordable price. Highly recommend this place, great service. Ivan was our hero!

I actually had a wonderful experience. The technician came on time and was extremely helpful. He was able to show me where the issue was and how to take care of the maintenance myself so that it doesn't happen again. He also was able to confirm that the previous company that came out, did not do a good job and pretty much took my money and did nothing. I was very pleased with Legacy. Very informative and professional.

Supremely good, reliable, honest service run by Ivan and his team. I returned from vacation to find my air conditioning went out and they responded to my request for an appointment within a day. He came and spent an hour looking over my 10+year old AC and boiler system and talked me through the likely prognosis of when I would need/want to upgrade things.Excellent job, and excellent price with great communication. This is the type of small family owned business you want to support. Will call them again!
