These guys are truly amazing from start to finish. A+++++++ A couple of months ago we realized we had to replace all of the pipes in our home due to them being polybutylene and replaced with plex. OMG! The expense and disruption was going to be a lot. We got got qoutes from 4 different plumbers. Letchworth came in the lowest. So much so we thought that could be correct. My wife ran a poll in the New Bern's women group an asked for who was the best from their collective experience. 95% were enthusiastically for Letchworth's and sons. Bottom line up front: stay as far away as possible from this company. Save yourself the stress of an extremely unprofessional and thoroughly disappointing experience. Details below: Hired to install two new bathroom sinks, new tub, new toilet, and two new shower heads. Initial work was performed on 15 Dec 2025, with the below results. - BOTH SINKS LEAKED (see photos). - THE TUB LEAKED (see photos). - THE NEW SHOWER HEAD DIDN’T FIT BECAUSE THEY MEASURED INCORRECTLY DURING THE ROUGH IN. - THE BRAND-NEW TOILET RUNS AND YOU HAVE TO JIGGLE THE HANDLE TO GET IT TO STOP. - THE PLUMBERS LEFT WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW THEY WERE FINISHED OR SHOWING US THEIR WORK. - On 15 Dec 2025, I spoke to the owner (Trey Letchworth) about the above issues, and he downplayed it as “things happen.” The following day

They came highly recommended by multiple people in my neighborhood, so naturally I gave them a call. He was able to schedule a time to fix my toilet and two days later a couple guys showed up. They were early and prepared. I’m not sure how long this particular thing usually takes, but the ordeal was pretty quick. The tech was knowledgeable and he kept me informed. Real pros who obviously take pride in the work they do, as well as their customers.

Letchworth and Sons Plumbing has been a godsend for us. As new residents of New Bern, our home needed several upgrades. Trey and his crew have relocated our laundry to the garage, installed a tankless water heater (switching us over to gas in the process) and installed a gas line so we could install a gas stove. This week his team has coordinated the install of a whole house generator. Service is always prompt and they are just wonderful people to deal with.

Trey and Aaron did a great job digging and replacing my water line ! They were professional and thorough and had me back together in 3 hrs !!
