Leviathan Historical Fencing - Orlando

Really cool fencing tutorial and demo class given for free. Met these guys during the Oviedo Mall (Indoor) Renaissance Fair, and you had the choice to choose between learning the short sword, long sword or the saber. Their instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and made the lesson fun. With the free lesson you get to learn three moves designed for beginners and you can choose to spar with your instructor or peer if you like! Absolutely enjoyed and I’m thrilled I can join a sword school outside of conventions. Check them out if you are interested, totally worth it!

Can't recommend Leviathan HEMA enough! The instructors are fantastic. Patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they teach. They make the learning curve feel approachable whether you're brand new or have some experience. The fact that gear and participation are completely free removes any barrier to just showing up and trying it out. Everyone's there to learn and have fun. It's the kind of community that makes you want to keep coming back. If you've ever been curious about historical fencing, just go. You won't regret it!

A wonderful time was had. Jess was so helpful and Joe was very passion it was a fun experience! We will definitely check out the school!

Such a fun activity!! All of the instructors are SO amazing and very talented educators. Great for every skill level even if you’re brand new to HEMA. Everybody is friendly and the space is great! I look forward to going back!
