Liacouras Garage

HORRIBLE HORRIFIC HORRIBLE!!! Two times I parked here for two different shows. They don’t direct traffic. I was stuck in my parking spot for an hour. Then 15-20 more minutes before I exited the garage. I was parked on the top floor. The other show one of my passengers had to block traffic so I could back out and it was still horrible. Never again. I’ll have to park somewhere else or catch Lyft or Uber. The parking was $27 and took over an hour to exit the garage.

It’s a parking garage in the middle of Philly. You can’t really think you’re going to get out quickly. We took our time getting back to the car and still sat in the car parked for 30 mins waiting for everyone else to vacate. Once we began leaving it took another 15 minutes but attendants were directing us to go down in the up sections which was better since it put us in the left lane. It’s extremely well lit and I felt safe walking around past midnight (granted there were tons of other concert goers).

The day we parked at this garage, the staff had their hands full. There was a long line of cars waiting to enter to see former President Obama, Bruce Springsteen, and John Legend. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and pleasant. They had helped me with holding the elevator since I was having trouble walking and even offered to escort me to my car. My only disappointment was the cost to park. It was $27! But, I guess those who work in nearby center city are used to paying that for day rates. All in all, if I were to be in the area again for a game or another event, I'd be more than happy to park in this garage, knowing that I'm safe and that they have a wonderful group of employees willing to go the extra mile to assist its customers.

Poor traffic pattern leading to the garage. Not sure why it was such a mess, but a few parking attendants and police officers directing traffic would have aided significantly in this process. Took us an hour and a half to get to the garage that was 1/2 a mile away. Not my first concert. Not my first slow to exit parking experience. I wish we would have parked away from the venue and walked to the center. Would have saved ourselves some major time and headache. Would also suggest the center finds a more efficient way to bring attendees in and out of the facility.

The garage is large. We had no trouble finding a parking spot. Although we were on the 4th level, the garage management held up the traffic on the upper levels to allow for the lower levels to exit first. There was easy access to the elevators, but there was a wait and line jumpers. I guess some people don't think they need to wait until others who were there waiting before them got on the elevator. The garage was secure and safe.
