🚨 Warning: AVOID UNITED VAN LINES AT ALL COSTS – Deliberate Tampering, Privacy Violation & Massive Destruction! This was the worst moving experience imaginable and feels like outright sabotage. After 2 previous moves with Ed Scott at Liberty Van Lines/United Van Lines’ crew intentionally and recklessly tampered with my personally sealed boxes consisting of gowns, suits, high-end items we personally packed/sealed – they cut them open, inserted heavy items like boxes and chairs at the bottom, then didn’t even reseal the bottom. This caused catastrophic crushing & damage: over 16 garment boxes completely ruined, my wood credenza smashed (slate top shattered), leather bench badly scuffed, and virtually every item in the shipment damaged in some way. My experiences have been fantastic with the Liberty Group! I have had several moves including having items in storage over the last few years. Everyone from coordination (Lisa and Keith) to billing (Arlene), to all the movers (Jorge, Calil, Noah and others) have been so amazing to deal with. The process each time was very smooth and they took care with all my personal belongings and I cannot thank them enough. I HIGHLY recommend the Liberty Group!

Lisa and Ed were great to deal with and the price was good. The movers were a disaster I had my boxes clearly marked with pink post it's for all the fragile things plus wrote fragile on the boxes.So many of my antiques were broken. They broke my daughter's bed frame ,scratcher my grandmother's antique radio. Broke a piece off my dresser and threw it in the draw. I would never use them again.

If I could give this shameless company zero stars I would. The review showing your gross damage and negligence in the recent post of our personal property is exactly the result of your companies actions and you are well aware of this situation because you have all the same pictures and photos and acknowledged how inappropriate it was and you assigned an individual to try and negotiate with us. You are now trying to claim it is not against your company? What a joke. It is United Van Lines - Liberty transportation and storage based in Berkley Heights NJ. Liberty transportation and storage Company United Van Lines is such a great professional company- I used them to move when I sold my home to my apartment temporarily and now that I’m moving again I’m using them as well for this move. I’ve been dealing with Ed Scott and he has just the nicest person and so professional. They come out they go through everything thoroughly room by room and give you a very fair estimate. I don’t write reviews often, but I did need to acknowledge Ed and the company, but I’d also like to acknowledge Kathy who is in the office and is extremely professional friendly and a joy to talk to . so if you’re planning a move big or small definitely reach out to liberty transportation and storage in New Jersey… there are other companies that have similar names in other st
