Locust Street Garage

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this garage. Please note they close the gates at 7 pm. Once the gates are down and the doors are locked there is no way in to get your car. Online it says you can enter the building at any point to get your car and the gate would open but that all you need is your ticket. This garage has switched over to a QR code system that doesn’t provide you with a ticket. When I called the help number they tried to help but hung up on me. This resulted in me having to leave my car overnight here and retrieve it the next morning. I have never heard of a parking garage closing but take this as a lesson as they do. This garage is still working out their new system and be careful not to get stuck like I did as there was no one to help.

The garage appears well-maintained, and the lower levels seem full. I believe I parked there for slightly more than four hours, and the $30 fee seems excessive.

$32 for 5 hours of mid day parking in Harrisburg PA. I think that’s all that needs to be said.

Parking garage proximate to Federal Building, Strawberry Square and state offices. Be prepared to pay a good bit to park
