My 11-year-old has been fencing here for 2 years. This is one of the best Sabre Fencing clubs in Texas. Coach Andre is from Ukraine and has coached in the UK and East Coast. While the kids can easily get distracted and "lazy," Coach Andre always sets a high standard to push the kids to focus and continue. My wife and I noticed that in the first trial class. That was the reason why we chose this club. And the club size is not huge so that each student can get attention from the coach. I highly recommend this club!

I took my child here for a try out, and what I saw was shocking. The coach isn’t just strict—he’s toxic. Instead of teaching with patience, he humiliates kids over the smallest mistakes. We’re talking about little children, but he crosses the line into personal attacks. He said something so harsh to a 7- or 8-year-old in front of everybody that the child broke down in tears. That’s not discipline, that’s cruelty. Completely unacceptable. I would not stay for sure.

Coaches are very important for kids development. Our kids experience here was bad. Though the coach was good in his trade, he was very rude and disrespectful. Stay away. We tried a summer camp and I regret putting my kids through the week.

Excellent fencing club with very professional Coach. Our kid love the environment and the attention from Coach Andre. Definitely 5 star club.High recommended !!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Latest location for the sabre fencing club of veteran coach Mike Kim. He's been in these parts for the last couple of decades and has an unparalleled track record of training competitive kids for college entry in the States. Facilities are good, easily good enough to run a 64 with an elevated finals piste, and easy access from metro Dallas with plenty of parking. Keen to come back for another round next time I'm in town.
