My 20 year old well that was dug by Terry Long quit working. Called Long Drilling who is now owned by Terry's son Kelton. Technician Bobby and apprentice Emerson came out and found the capacitor was bad. The control board was replaced and it started pumping; however flow was very slow. Bobby cut the pvc pipe and water was barely flowing. It was determined the pipe and motor would have to pulled out. The worked was scheduled a few days later. Bobby and Emerson showed up with the pullout unit and pulled the pipe and motor out. It was discovered numerous fittings had deteriorated. Previous readings indicated the motor was not operating efficiently. Thus it was decided that as the motor was 20 years old it should be replaced.
