Lot C Visitor Garage

Visiting a loved one for over a week and this garage has been left unattended with no way of getting a parking slip upon arrival 3 times in the last 6 days. Today, there was no one there when I arrived and the guard station was locked. I parked for a little over an hour. When I left, the girl proceeded to tell me that I owed $8 for the one hour I had been parked. When I explained that I had only been there a short while and no one was there when I arrived around 4:30, she confessed that she was late because her "kid was late". Why should I have to pay for her inability to get to work on time? She then told me I should "just valet, it's cheaper". Are you kidding me?

I would think that parking area to be nice.....as I walked past it each time to go visit our new grandchild and family at the medical center

As if a hospital isn't raking in enough money, they charge for parking? What a racket.
