Lotus Gardenscapes

I had a great experience working with Lotus. When Lauren and I met initially to talk plans she really listened to what I wanted. Her drawings brought my dream rock garden to life. When the start date neared, Ben, my project manager, came out with Lauren to talk things over. I appreciated that. My main crew was Reed and Tyler. They were awesome…hard working and personable. If I requested a slight variation with the plans, they were amenable and willing to please. Reed communicated when they would be here and when they wouldn’t. Photos were taken and Ben was able to see the progress on a daily basis. Ben also stopped on site to check in a couple of times! The other crew that came on occasion worked hard as well. We had several trees planted by them. Watch out for the trees planted in Red Clay ! They used four of these from Kentucky, or somewhere, and they looked great for a bit over a year then slowly started to die. They are not acclimated to Michigan. We already replaced one on our own dime and are looking at having to either take our or replace the others. They offered $500 to compensate for over $3000 worth of trees - never use this place!

We have had a mixed experience. First the good...we had some new landscaping done by Lotus in our backyard. Sam and her team were just fantastic through out. Great communication, did the job really well. Unfortunately, we also had a bad experience. Because they were so great with the new work, we asked them to quote us on fall clean-up. Their maintenance group sent someone out to take a look to get a quote together. They told us they'd be back in touch shortly. 6 weeks, and 3 unanswered emails later, we have been totally ghosted by them. Just odd and frustrating. I would probably consider them again for new design/install work but absolutely stay away from them for any ongoing maintenance. This has certainly left me questioning the culture of customer service throughout the compa

Lotus Gardenscapes did a small but important project for us, installing a stone path to connect our front and back yards. They also helped us reshape the front yard planting beds and did that work at the same time. They were a delight to work with, from the initial design consultation, to project scoping and scheduling, and most importantly - the installation. Cost was very reasonable. Zeke and the crew took great care of our existing plants and surprised us with adding mulch to the existing beds when they mulched the newly added areas - not part of the scope of work - to make the whole yard look great.
