Dilvery drivers did good. Customer service failed. Had a delivery for bathroom remodel. Truck arrived and helped us carry everything to the house! Was excellent, but they left a few large stove boxes outside our dumpster when they left. Maybe the just forgot, so i'll give them some grace. When i called Southside Lowes to tell them about the issue, the response i got, "What do you want us to do about it?" I was pretty shocked and literally said, "Come get the boxes. They won't fit in my dumpster and i'm not breaking them down. I didn't even have a stove delivered." They agreed and told me they would work it out and call me back. 2 days and no call so i called my rep at Lowes and he immediately scheduled a pickup
While shopping at Lowes I came across some supposed clearance home security items google nest, google doorbell, nest hub. Very very clearly marked as clearance for .2 cents even says what the original prices marked as. Waited probably 10 to 15 minutes for an associate to open the case he was helpful but when asked about the price although he agreed that it clearly said .2 cents he called the manager who refused to sell them at the price clearly displayed. They where in fact not on clearance at all. She did not attempt to correct the misleading display just refused to sell them was very very rude and offered no solution. The woman who helped us at self check out was very friendly helpful and had a great attitude. That’s why lowes is getting 2 stars
Multiple issues 1. Finding people to help in this store is next to impossible. Heaven forbid you do find someone they have no idea what you’re talking about even when it is their section. 2. Delivery from the store is a nightmare. They will change the delivery date the day of delivery and not give you any notification so you will sit at your house all day waiting for an item that is never going to arrive. This has happened twice now with pipe and with a snow thrower. With the snow thrower, I was actually at the store and picked it out, but they sold the one that I had purchased to someone else and weren’t going to have any new ones in stock for several more weeks. 3. They don’t update the item prices in their store. They have sale prices advertised for items that haven’t been in stock for
I came to the store because I needed duct tape to fix my car to get through the holiday weekend. I had been having a really rough 24 hrs and was done. I walked into the Old Seward location and was met by an incredibly kind woman who brightened my really rough day. She gave me a wooden rose, made me happy, and I definitely left with more than duct tape. I was asked multiple times if I needed help. It was a very attentive store. I hope the lady at the front sees this. I went to fix my car and she fixed my day! Thank you!
On Saturday, 11/01, my family and I arrived at Lowe’s around 2:30 PM to purchase a dishwasher and other items. By 4:54 PM, everything had been scanned and we were ready to pay—including the dishwasher. The final step was verifying my military discount, but there was a technical issue linking my Lowe’s account with my military status. I needed a moment to check my email, but the associate assisting us abruptly said he had to leave. He didn’t offer to call anyone else or ensure we’d be helped. We asked him to page another associate over the overhead speaker. He took the dishwasher back, and we waited about 15 minutes—no one came.
