Went in today and bought a generator for the upcoming snow storm. Joseph and Luis helped us, they were fantastic. Especially Joseph! He helped us from start to finish and was very patient while we were trying to make our decision. You should give him a raise! And let him use the electric pallet jack again haha!!

Every piece of treated wood I bought from here my most recent visit was way off from the stated "actual size" dimensions. It's forcing me to recalculate a lot of the math for the deck I'm working on. And each board is inconsistent with one another, making it even more difficult. Additionally, there were dozens of ants crawling all over the lower boards in the stack. Disgusting. Terrible location. Thank God Home Depot just opened up in Cville. Maybe they'll be a more competent home improvement store

Do not do installation through them. Had a major appliance delivered and lowes' deliverymen refused to do installation despite that being part of the order, then when called on the lie claimed we had an incorrect part (we did not, confirmed by a handyman the next day) and refused to do it. Worse still Lowes customer care claims it was our fault for not going out and buying the new part and booking another installation through them

The amount in stock on the website seems to bear no resemblance to what is actually on the shelves. And not by a small amount. The employees are nice but one gets the impression they are way under staffed. Very few people ask to help you or are anywhere to be seen. They will have to up their game now that Home Depot is open nearby. By contrast, Home Depot has lots of folks asking if you need help, and inventory spot on so far. Or better yet, for many items, go to local hardware like Martin’s .

Christopher came out from their install team and quoted us on a door. At that time I pointed out some rot around it and he assured us it would be no problem and may take the installers a little more material and time, but should not be a problem. We ordered, and after numerous delays the door came in. The install team arrived 2 hours late the next day and told us they could not do the install at all because of the rotted areas. Now Lowes is acting surprised and saying it is our problem. Never again will we trust or buy anything from Lowes as we now have to get a contractor to come out and take care of this and do the work while a $2K door just sits in our backyard.
