We had a new fridge delivered today, and when the delivery team brought it into the kitchen I mentioned that we had requested the doors open from the right side. Instead, they were set to open from the left. The response I got was an immediate and emphatic “No, that’s not in our notes.” Here’s the thing: I’m not particularly concerned about what is or isn’t in your notes. The request was made when the order was placed. What surprised me was the amount of time spent arguing about whether the request existed, when that same amount of time could have been used to simply swap the doors. I had purchased a PitBoss smoker in September 2025. There was a control panel malfunction that affected the hopper and started a small fire within the hopper. After calling PitBoss they recommended returning it to Lowe’s. Unfortunately it was outside the return window but thankfully I had the recommendation from PitBoss. Aaron the receiving manager was extremely helpful in handling the process with PitBoss. Aaron was able to walk through the exchange process and help load it up. All with a smile on his face.

Absolutely enormous store with aisles so wide you could drive a compact car through them. This Lowe’s in Cotati feels like heaven for anyone into home projects or accidentally spending $400 when you only needed a lightbulb. The variety here is top tier. Every big name brand you could want is on the shelves, from power tools to paint to patio furniture. It’s like a red carpet of hardware celebrities waiting to fix your house and empty your wallet. And the seasonal section? Wild. Halloween and Christmas decorations were out at the same time like some festive fever dream. Skeletons mingling with Santas, Jack Skellington hanging out with Rudolph, and more name brand Disney stuff than you’d expect. My grandma and I went it in so that we could get a board cut for some arts and crafts. The lovely woman was so helpful with everything. She was kind and sweet and made us feel like a priority. She had a line of people who needed her to cut and the store was calling her to help out and she was calm and got it all done. I wished I would have gotten her name, she was amazing!!!! 10/10 for her service.

Mellow store to shop at for home goods and appliances. I went here to get a sliding barn door, which had one of the best prices we could find. Large variety of goods in a massive building. Their nursery has healthy nice plants. Parking is wide open and easy out front. Their return policy is great. A little more staff would be helpful. But this is my first time going here, and it could be because of Covid for the limited staff. All in all nice place to get some good deals for home.
