“Contractor warning for South Jersey investors and contractors.” Very disappointed with Lowe’s delivery service in South Jersey. Order #201575063261583051 was scheduled for delivery on Friday and included framing lumber (2×10s, 2×6s), plywood, and other building materials for an active construction project. The order was not prepared by the store, and I was told the delivery would be moved to Saturday (March 7). Today only part of the order arrived, and now I’m being told the rest of the materials will not be delivered until Tuesday. This kind of service is completely unacceptable for contractors and real estate investors who rely on materials arriving on the scheduled date. Delays like this stop active construction projects and cost real money. The problem appears to involve the Lowe
I ordered online. I was in the area and stopped by just in case I could pick up the items before they were ready. Only 20 minutes passed between the time I placed the order and when I arrived. I asked if I could fetch the items myself. They said I could not. This is where they grabbed the items for me and completed my order on the spot. I’m in the parking lot right now and had to write this review as soon as I can because I’m so excited and happy with my experience. In the previous decade I’ve been shopping at both Lowe’s and a competitor of yours. This experience has helped me make the decision going forward that I’ll be shopping from Lowe’s exclusively. Thank you for the great service!!
Avoid buying from Lowes. So I had a delivery a refrigerator scheduled on 8/2/25. They gave me a delivery window for 2-6pm. A third party delivery service arrives and they unbox the fridge and there is severe damage. So of course I refuse delivery. The delivery driver contacts a Lowes rep to report damage and have me speak to them. No before I spoke to the Lowes rep I had listened to the conversation between him and the delivery driver. Apparently the delivery driver had noted damage to the box that morning and reported it to Lowes. Yet they decided to try and deliver it. So when it came time for me to speak to the rep I had explained I needed a specific time frame for morning delivery for 8/4/25 he seemed that accommodating me wouldn’t be an issue. I’ve had a terrible experience with the scheduling installation of an appliance. They use NHS installers who obviously have no regard for anyone’s work schedule except their own. After multiple requests they never informed me of my delivery/ installation and just expected me to wait for their installer in the middle of my work day. Hope the installer never needs a a health care provider to actually be at work when they arrive at the hospital, because they were home waiting for their appliance to be installed!
Avoid Lowe’s Maple Shade! Bought a brand-new Bosch dishwasher — the box was already open. They said it’s “checked before leaving,” but when my installer came, several key parts were missing. When I spoke to Megan at the store, she said since 48 hours had passed, there’s “nothing they can do.” Seriously? I paid for a new product, not a half-empty box. Feels shady — parts don’t just disappear. Check your boxes before leaving this store!
