Lowe's Home Improvement

I stopped by this Lowe’s yesterday and accidentally wandered into the seasonal department — and I need someone to explain why that section is operating on a level the rest of retail clearly hasn’t unlocked yet. Whoever is running that area didn’t just understand the assignment — they shredded it, framed it, and hung it under perfectly placed ambient lighting. The department was so clean and dialed in I briefly wondered if I had walked into a high-end outdoor showroom by mistake. And then… the bird sounds. Yes. BIRD. SOUNDS. Somewhere in that aisle, my stress levels dropped, my wallet loosened, and I suddenly felt an overwhelming emotional connection to patio furniture. That is not merchandising — that is psychological wizardry. Let’s be honest: there is absolutely zero chance this level

I have never felt so brushed off in a retail store. I couldn’t find an item I needed and tried asking an employee. Not an unreasonable request. I was completely brushed off and pretty rudely at that!! I completely understand he was probably in the middle of another task and maybe taking 15 seconds to tell me where the item I needed was inconvenient but he could have at least been polite about it instead of making me feel like I was a bother. Guess I’ll take myself back to Home Depot where I’m always greeted with a smile and employees always happy to help.

I tracked Tyler down inside the store to ask if he could call someone to the garden department to help me lift some extremely heavy tiles. Instead, he immediately offered to help me himself. He was incredibly strong, handled the tiles carefully so they wouldn’t get scratched, and even helped load them into my car. Truly appreciated his positive attitude and willingness to help. Thanks, Tyler! you were awesome!

This is the second Lowe’s I went to in the same day within an hour apart. The one on Higley and the 60 I couldn’t get anybody to help me in the blinds and window covering section. I went to the other one on Ellsworth and southern how to ask somebody to get some help this cocky Jacob. Came over not once pulled out. Any books of window coverings. He went to the computer and his attitude was like I put him out for needing some help. Guess what I turned out walked out. I told him before I left Home Depot look at my business. No wonder there’s more Home Depot locations in Mesa and Gilbert than lowes.. Oh yeah in Jacob they would price match what Home Depot quoted me by a dollar you really think I’m gonna go someplace for a dollar cheaper I think not.

Just went in for the holiday cup they were giving away. It was a nice clean store. Really organized as we walked through.
