I was genuinely shocked by the behavior I experienced during my curbside pickup at the Lowe’s in North Hampton, NH on Saturday, November 15th. I had called ahead to have an air purifier brought out to my car. When the employee, Karen, came out, she didn’t greet me, looked visibly irritated, and dropped the item on the ground before walking away without saying a single word. There was no “hi,” no acknowledgment, no basic courtesy. As someone already dealing with a stressful situation, this felt incredibly disrespectful. If an employee is that unhappy interacting with customers, a public-facing role may not be a good fit for them. I called the store afterward to speak with a manager, and honestly, their reaction made it seem like they were already aware that this employee struggles with cu
Have to shoutout Miranda helping out from a customer service standpoint today! Busy weekend for the Lowe's crew and we had some shelves getting delivered. DoorDash initially canceled without explanation on the delivery and instead of just letting it ride, (1) Miranda called me to check in that I knew they had canceled (2) when I said I had no idea, she called them back to coordinate (3) called me back to confirm that they got another driver and were good to go. Above and beyond customer service in today's world, and saved me the trip up to Seabrook on a busy weekend with guests to get my items. THANK YOU Miranda -- appreciate it beyond!
Bought a refrigerator to be delivered and installed. They informed a 4-hours window delivery, at the end of that period they delayed it for another 5 hours. Later, sent me a an email - without calling - telling that the delivery had been rescheduled for 2 days later. Detail: they asked me to remove all the food from my refrigerator and unplug it in the morning, while I was waiting for the delivery. Now after 9 hours waiting, they will not deliver anymore. I talked to 5 people from their customer service. They even transferred me to a customer service in a different state, and I still don't know when my refrigerator is going to be delivered. And guess what? They were brave enough to ask me to stay connected in the end of the call and review their services...
Of all of the Lowes that I have been to, I have not experienced such poor customer service as this. We were looking for which type of paint we needed to purchase and were obviously struggling. The lady working in the area not once asked us if we needed help, didn't greet us and continued going about her business with a scowl upon her face. She made herself appear very unapproachable. When we were looking for the checkout area, we were standing in front of an employee that acknowledged us standing there with our merchandise, ready to pay and she said absolutely nothing. After 2 minutes of standing there I finally asked where we pay and she finally directed us where we needed to go. It turns out that the employee was the manager. Good heavens.... Smh.
Check your receipts! My husband just got back from Lowe’s and complained about the cost of what he bought. After he got home I looked over the receipt and saw he was charged twice for the same product! Now he has to turn around and go back to get his refund for the overcharge. This was through the self check!! Another frustrating thing is a shower head we bought last month worked for only a week before it stopped working properly. The brand is “Allen and Roth.” Quality is not great. Not made in America. Obviously Other than that, the staff is very friendly every time he goes
