Love the outstanding customer service I received from Christopher in lumber. Asked him where a specific item was and not only did he stop what he was doing but showed me where to find it and helped me gather the items on my list. Truly grateful for his time as it saved me from being overwhelmed. He even asked if I needed help loading my vehicle. Not everyday you get an employee that truly cares about you as the customer. Great job Lowes for having Christopher as a great example of humanity.

Avoid this place for anything outside of traditional retail items! Terrible, TERRIBLE culture that clearly starts at the top. I’ve tried to get some doors purchased and installed. There has not been one aspect of this project that has gone well or as planned. Long story short, stopped in a month after getting the project started to talk with the store manager since he hadn’t called when asked. Then I had to retell the story to him, he took notes which was great but guess what? Been another week, no call, no resolution, no doors. At first I was stand-off ish because I was a female in what felt like man territory and let me tell you that man took care of me as if I was his own daughter he told me what I should buy, picked out all the tools for me and explained how I should got about painting. I am on a deadline and scheduled a kitchen consultation for new cabinets, counter, backsplash, and sink. This was the Shawnee, Kansas location. I had to make arrangements for this appointment, and when I arrived, Susan was still with customers. However, as I sat 5 feet away from her and these customers, she never looked my direction and it was only me, her, and these two customers discontinued on for 25 minutes. I got up and left and went to the front where a customer service person apologized and went back to let her know. In the last few months I have purchased 2 refrigerators, 2 washers, 1 dryer from the Shawnee Kansas Lowe's store. The sales person said that I was getting Lowe's points for each purchase. I waited for the items to show up in my Lowe's Reward account. They never have! I stopped at the store today(12/22/25) and talked to the Assistant Manager at the Help Desk. He looked up my information and informed me that my purchases were not assigned to my Rewards Account. They stated "I" had not linked the items to my Lowe's Reward Account and asked me to bring my Sales Receipts to the store.
