Employees at this location excel in incompetence. Had me sitting around for almost 30 minutes after asking for help, hoping I could purchase a new washer / dryer for new home. Asked another employee for help / update and proceeded to get a sarcastic response about how the gal in charge was on the phone, but that he could help keep me occupied until she came back. Some people don’t have time to be entertained, a simple update on expectations so I could plan accordingly would have been helpful. Definitely didn’t need a smart response from some low level peon. Get it together. Buying a new home in Smithfield? Go to Garner appliances, they actually want your business

I just want to give a shout out to the man that helped me with purchasing some breakers for my power box. His name was Jimmy. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. they never have enough help to help you when you’re looking for something so you’re pretty much on your own. The people are nice. I just don’t think they have enough help. I can usually find what I’m looking there. They’ve added a bunch of clothes and things that I think a little strange for I think about Hardware type stuff there but they’re turning into like a department store I don’t think that’s gonna work out good for him, but we’ll see. I just wish they had help when you tried to buy stuff you need for building and contractors and screws and connectors and things like that even for ceiling fans and light fixtures and plumbing and lighting supplies, electric supplies there’s never any help that’s frustrating for me. Man I am so disappointed with going into this Lowe's home improvement store. I went in for an entry door knob and to have it re-keyed. You would think i was looking for a needle in a haystack. The salesperson was clueless and once i picked out a knob they couldn't key it. I left empty handed and i'm not planning on on darkening the doorway again. No good...
