I went in on February 7th to return light bulbs that I thought would work for a refrigerator. They didn’t work and the receipt was thrown away by someone else. Tried to return, had my proof that I purchased the item on my account and showed the lady, but because I didnt have the receipt, I couldn’t even get a store credit. They were purchased on Thursday. Really!?! I don’t have to steal light bulbs, they came from YOUR store. I threw them away in the store. I mean I can’t use them, they wouldn’t take them back. I get you have people stealing but come on now.

Today me and my wife went to Lowe’s in Washington. And as far as the the employees to help us find the what we wanted was great. But we we went to check out the lady was very rude for example my wife stated she had a pickup item the lady never acknowledged she heard her so my wife repeated herself when she did the lady in a rude tone I heard you the first time. We had several items a couple was big and we had some small items she told me wife she would have to go through self checkout for the small items because she didn’t have any bags to put them in. And finally I had a large item that i needed help loading she told my wife the one that helps with that is on lunch and su my wife went and found someone to help me because she didn’t seem to concerned. There are not many options in garden center yet. They have all their bulbs inside the store and are ready to plant once this cold front passes. The store is clean and restrooms are stocked. They have 3 electric scooters for handicap with plenty of handicap parking. Customer service is hit n miss. Appliance has the best service and paint but if you need help finding something, you have to find someone to help you. I would suggest using your phone to find stuff on isles, but the WiFi stinks inside.

Buyers beware! I purchased an HVAC systems from Lowe's and the installation was done by Lilly Enterprises, LLC. I began to have issues with the heating and cooling and I found out that Lowe's installed the incorrect size. I paid for the unit that was needed for my home and a smaller unit was installed. Lowe's would not take any responsibility for their mistake. Thomas, the assistant manager, told me I should have known how to translate the model numbers. So if you purchase an HVAC system from Lowe's compare the model numbers on your documents to the system and also insure that the system is the correct size for your home.

We went to our local Lowes in Washington,NC. we went to find out about purchasing countertops for our kitchen. We decided on Granite countertops. The associate in that area sat at her desk and made numerous phone calls. Another associate came and greeted us but he was in the appliance department He said he would be over as soon as he finished with the customers in his department. We waited over an hour then finally left. Upon leaving another customer gave us the name of another counter top manufacturer and installer. Lowes you have lost my business due to being rude and unwilling to even take our name and phone number and calling is back. This is not the way to maintain customers.
