Lucent Earth

Worst contractor experience imaginable. Hired to install a 240 outlet within 4 feet of my electrical box. Estimate of $400 became $900 @4 hrs of work. My original electrician had a nice layout, now it has sloppy graffiti. Exactly how hard is it to install an outlet that is level and matches the rest of the faceplates in the garage? This did not happen. When I showed this job and mentioned the cost to another contractor on my street, he laughed and shook his head. I’ll redo the faceplate, match it, make it level and rewrite the chicken scratches written in my electrical box. Sloppy, overpriced and perhaps my biggest contractor disappointment. The owner of Lucent Earth got me, lesson learned.

Wish i could give less than one star. Horrible experience with electrician and owner/boss of Lucent Earth. I will never use them again, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. I will in fact make a point to let any one I can know to NOT use them for any services. I had central air installed by them, which the installer BJ of my central air was professional and did a fabulous job at what he did. Unfortunately he was not licensed to do the electrical so he had to have the electrician come in to do the electrical connection for the unit. At which time he informed my gf we had to replace the panel. They negotiated a fair and reasonable price, he performed the work with no explanation of further charges to have a completed job, however he left the work unfinished and refused to come ba

Dave Gibson came out to help install a car charger for my house. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and quick! The price ended up being half as much as any hour services quoted me. I would definitely recommend this company to do your electrical work!

Quick to call me and set up a time to come out. I had other bids that were 500 dollars higher than what I paid Lucent. Dave even helped come up with a solution to add a heat source in an enclosed shower/toilet room that I was having an exhaust fan replaced in. I just told him what I wanted and he gave me a couple of options that were cost effective. I had a very good experience with this company. I would highly recommend them.

We've had several house calls with Lucent, and had Carl, Josh & Raymundo out to help with electrical issues ranging from changing out smart switches to replacing lights and receptacles. All were very professional, friendly, and Carl even worked late hours to help us meet deadlines to get everything done. He worked through some tough challenges including old boxes and wiring in an hold house and helped bring everything up to modern outlets for us. Very friendly and courteous with fair pricing, highly recommend!
