MacNeela’s Tree Service

I am not contradicting all the positive reviews, however, BEWARE if you just looking for tree trimming. MacNeela's came to the commercial property where I work. They were supposed to do tree trimming, but rather than trimming the branches back that had grown to close to the building, they took the branches with the entire limbs of the trees. (I can see how this was much more convenient as they could just drag away the limbs and put them into their big machines.) Many of the trees look awful now and, most importantly, this approach to tree trimming is detrimental to the tree's health. Since they cut the limbs right at the trunk, there is no chance that any will grow back. These limbs with remaining branches were needed to support the tree and there was absolutely no reason to amputate

Sean and team removed 2 large trees and one small. One large one was hanging over our house near our neighbors driveway. I have not experienced such a professional service on any home repairs etc in about 30 years. I'll rate the job as perfection - from each tree cut and haul away to the street for grinding to yard clean up including blowing the leaves off the grass. I would not hesitate to use their service for any tree removal. We have already recommended them to our neighbor!

Sean and his team did an AMAZING job for me in removing a very large oak tree from my backyard. They had to crane it over my house and process it in my front yard. They even cut up some wood for me to keep and they cleaned up all of the debris. They were fast, on time, easy to communicate with, gave me an affordable price, and deserve the highest rating!! It is truly a shame that my neighbor Susan Elvin left a two star review because that has more to do with her relationship with me than with the tree service. They are fussy neighbors that complain about everything and everyone. Please do not let this in any way reflect on the high quality of service that Sean and his team provide. Sean MacNeala and his crew are amazing! In July 2024, Sean removed 3 large trees from our property for a reasonable price. He showed up to do the work just as he said, even with equipment failures. He got the job done and kept our property safe. MacNealas came highly recommended to us, and we have since recommended him to others.

Sean is fantastic. He was doing some work for a neighbor and I had an extreme significant amount of debris on my property. I walked over, asked him for a quote and he gave me an extremely fair quote to remove all of it. He came over a couple days later, knocked it out before lunch, and was able to do it all without messing up any of my grass 🏆. 10/10 would work with again.
