Mad City Windows & Baths of Cedar Rapids

My mom is very pleased with her new kitchen cupboard doors from Mad City! Brent, the sales representative, was able to show us lots of photos of other projects on his i-pad, and he also brought samples of various styles and wood colors. We were impressed with how perfectly the new wood matched the original cupboards for such a seamless installation! Mom chose the arch topped pattern; she was able to use her original pretty backplates and knobs; she did update with hinges that were internal and more modern in appearance. Within the next month, a carpenter arrived to measure precisely for the project. When the big day arrived, two installers came promptly at 8 am. We love our new shower! We loved everyone that we worked with! Brian was the installer and he was very meticulous about his work! He asked a lot of questions as he was installing to make sure we liked what we had chosen. The one issue that we had was taken care of and made right! This is a great company and I recommend them 100%!

Predatory Sales and Subpar Quality Mad City's process is predatory from start to finish. Three hours of high-pressure sales tactics in my own home, even after I repeatedly stated I needed to discuss the project with my husband, the salesperson insisted I call him on the spot, rather than reschedule. When I wrote about this on their website, they offered an insincere apology about addressing this internally, but it’s clearly a systemic, years-long issue, as evidenced by a multitude of similar complaints. My shower was installed on 2/12/26 and 2/13/26. I called on the evening of 2/13/26 and left a message regarding my concerns that the shower walls are not square and that there is a dip in the two shower walls, starting about halfway down and continuing to the floor. Kyanne & Greg C just finished installing windows throughout my home! They did a fabulous work, in a timely manner. They were professionally friendly, Bruce my dog liked them too! These windows are sealed inside and outside, I never have to paint the inside frames of my windows again!! I especially liked that Kyanne is a female installer,being a single woman it is nice to have a woman doing this kind of remodeling. She answered all my questions checked the interior windows one last time to make sure they were the way she wanted them. If I ever need a large remodel like this again, I will call Mad City! Thank you Mad City for helping make my dream come true, new windows!!!!

Brian Kelly, good communication, polite professional, kept me well informed, asked my input re: needs & wants with installation, treated my place with respect and once finished cleaned up area to satisfaction. Would recommend this company to others. Prior to project being started in beginning introduced to all team members that were associated with the remodel shower installation. Last & not least final step, ended by going over paper work summary with me & a chance to ask questions if I had any❣️
