I would recommend Preston and Maggs Construction a thousand times over. They were incredible to work with on our remodel. We moved walls and created a whole new layout of the house to make it just how we envisioned. Preston was efficient and was on top of all the deadlines. True custom builder! We had been wanting to build for some time and had no idea where to start. After calling a few builders Preston got back to us right away and spent the time to talk us through first steps and what to expect. After hearing other builder experiences from our friends we were so nervous, but Preston made us feel comfortable and his quote was spot on. He communicated daily and encouraged us to stop by and check progress. We were involved in every design decision down to location of outlets. His timeline was reasonable and we moved in when he said we would. He was very clear if decisions would result in overages and ultimately was our choice what to splurge on or not. We cannot say enough about how wonderful Preston was as our builder! This was our first custom home which, starting out, can be daunting to say the least. From the get-go, Preston was on top of things and made everything go so smoothly and seamlessly-in fact, we finished ahead of schedule, which is almost unheard of! We’ve heard horror stories about people waiting forever for subs to show up or for materials to come in-we experienced none of that. Our house was constantly being worked on-which was both fun and exciting! All of his subs were excellent and respectful. Preston provided ample time for decision-making and he with his wife Jen provided us valuable guidance, showcasing their keen eye for detail. Preston is professional, very efficient with subcontractors, and handled the permit process for us so that we had very few hitches. Additionally, Preston ensured that everything was built correctly, even at his own expense if necessary.
