On top of that, they replaced carpeting and seamlessly matched the new wood flooring to flow flawlessly with the existing hardwood on our stairs. John Dillon (sales Rep) and the Mal Elfman Team are professional and courteous. The Installation Crew was excellent and pay attention to detail. The stairs came out excellent (not an easy task to carpet stairs). Also, I had Zero worries, concerns or off putting vibes about leaving (the install crew) unattended in our home to complete work. All work was completed above expectation; cost, schedule and install duration (I believe they finished ahead of schedule). I have been in construction for years, and Mal Elfman did deliver as promised. John (and Team), thank you again for all your hard work (I know this wasn't the easiest job). Much appreciated

December 10, 2025: I visited Mal Elfmans for the first time, hoping to find an area rug for my dining room before Christmas and I was not disappointed. Paul Jackson greeted me with a smile and described the quality of the rugs available. He provided me with a sample to take home and told me he would make every effort to have it ready before Christmas. Other stores told me it would take 4-6 weeks to get a rug cut and bound. I ordered the rug the same day and was shocked when Paul called me the next day to tell me it was ready for pick-up. What service! Needless to say, I will be recommending Elfmans and will be returning there for all my flooring.

Stop the search! Elfman’s is the winner! After shopping around for a stair runner and being on the 1 yard line with the Carpet Room in Needham, we decided do one last stop by Elfman’s in Waltham. Wow! Top notch service and their selection was amazing. Don’t judge a book by a cover when you walk in. They have everything or can order anything. Paul our sales guy was extremely helpful and was part of the whole process. Ultimately, for an apples to apples quote, we saved $2000 by using Elfman’s and they were able to turn around and install in 1 week. The other company quoted 5 weeks. I normally don’t write reviews but I have to give credit when credit is due. Excellent job Elfman’s. We’ll be back!

Excellent service both in the showroom and onsite. Installation was a breeze: professional, quick and courteous, and the installers made a small piece and showed us how the carpet would look before installing the whole thing. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend.
