I had a great experience with my 18 year old LG dryer. The LG repair service recommended I replace the dryer (and of course the matching dryer) when I sent them a video of the unit squealing. They suggested finding a local authorized repair company, but didn’t hold much hope that it could be fixed. Manassas Appliance Repair fit the bill. When I called Steve asked me to send him the serial and model number. I sent them along with a video of the problem. He immediately called me and said it was the rollers and that he could order a repair kit from LG and be out in a few days. He came, disassembled and showed me frozen rollers, the cause of the squeaking. I was alarmed when I saw all of the lint in the unit.
