Marathon Door & Glass

I am happy to say that the owner contacted me to make things right. This is very much appreciated. Thank you, Marathon Door and Glass. I don’t like writing bad reviews, but feel I must since this company has avoided this situation for about two months. I had a screen door installed by Marathon Door and Glass - they did not do it correctly and also caused damage. There were many errors including screwing a nail into the main Thermatru door, using a hand saw on the door latch and cracking the wood…the list goes on and on. Please refer to the photos. Marathon Door and Glass was called multiple times including the vice president and owner (Tracey Ferguson) directly. Emails were also sent and voicemails were left – I received no response. Marathon Door to the rescue! Our garage door got stuck half way open, and we could not get it to budge at all, not even the override feature would work. We called Marathon door and someone was out at our home within 2 hours and fixed our door to perfect working condition at a very reasonable cost. We had recently moved into our home and even though this door was not installed by Marathon Door, we were treated as though we were long time customers and the service was exceptional. When it is time for a new garage door, we will definitely be calling Marathon Door!

We had two different appointments to have our springs replaced. The first time, we were provided with a 2-hour arrival window. When no one arrived, I contacted the director, Tracey, who told me the crew was running late. Communication with a customer the team was running late would have been appreciated. The 2nd appointment to change the springs was arranged via email. I responded confirming the date and arrival window. When no one arrived that day, I contacted Tracey who said she had me down for a different day. I shared our email thread with her. I have received no further response in about 2 weeks. This company is unreliable.

Timely performance and outstanding customer service has been my experience with Marathon Door. I have utilized their services multiple times and would not hesitate to recommend them as a extremely qualified company.
